To become a real property appraiser, you must first become an Appraiser Assistant. An Appraiser Assistant is subject to direct supervision by an appraiser who is certified in good standing, and may appraise those properties that his or her supervising appraiser is permitted to appraise. In this 150-hour program:You'll learn everything you need to know to pass the school exam, and start your career as an assistant appraiser. No state exam is required, just complete the course requirements and submit your state application.
