Licensed Appraiser Program

Introduction

New York Real Estate Appraiser At Work

A Licensed Appraiser is a full time professional appraiser. After gaining the necessary experience as an apprentice, an Appraiser wishing to upgrade their career has the option of becoming Licensed or Certified. Most begin their careers as a Licensed Appraiser, as it is the only full appraisal license-type that does not require any additional college education, until January, 2015.

Licensed Appraisers are qualified to evaluate the vast majority of the residential properties throughout the United States. Every home transaction in America must be appraised prior to sale.
